What to wear
There is no uniform at the I.W.S.O.D, The Children may wear whatever they feel comfortable in as long as it is suitable for dance. Leotards, tights, stockings and ballet skirts are recommended and shirts and shorts/pants for boys. The correct shoes are also preferred as it makes learning and teaching significantly better and safer.

We have a small range of 2nd hand tap shoes to hire.
They are $20 per term. Please bring a cm measurement of your child’s foot to class.

General Information
Children must be picked up promptly at the end of their class.
They cannot be supervised after class time, as teachers may need to leave to teach at other studios.

It is essential that all children go to the toilet before class to minimise interruptions.

All parents must wait outside or in our parent's room during all of class time, to reduce distractions. (This does not include the first and last day of term).

During class your child may be photographed for archival purposes by one of our employed teachers, by another parent or by a hired photographer. You will be notified well in advance if any photos of your child are under consideration for our website or publication of any kind. This includes class time and concert performances.
